Network Infrastructure Management Role

Network Administrator will maintain a reliable, secure and efficient data communications network. The ideal candidate will be able to deploy, configure, maintain and monitor all active network equipment in order to ensure smooth and secure network operation.

Information Security Analyst/Engineer Role

Job duties typically include planning and implementing security measures to protect computer systems, networks and data. Information security analysts are expected to stay up-to-date on the latest intelligence, including hackers’ methodologies, in order to anticipate security breaches.

IT Risk Management & Internal Controls

This role is responsible to maintain the IT Risk Framework and its associated controls and reporting including the evaluation of the overall information technology risk, maintaining an active view, and reporting on the actual, mitigated and residual risks in the technology area.

BACKGROUND/ EXPERIENCE

3-5 years of information security or related role experience required; 1-3 years of experience working with TCP/IP, firewalls, proxy, intrusion prevention systems (IPS), vulnerability assessment, monitoring tools such as SIEM, or email engineering required.

TECHNOLOGY EXPERIENCES

Technical – 1-3 Years Security/Vulnerability Scanner/SIEM

EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION

The minimum level of education preferred for candidates in this position is a degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a discipline with compliments to the role. The relevant professional certification shall be an advantage.

Fundamental Components

The chosen candidate’s primary role is to proactively maintain the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information in the custody of, or processed by our clients. You will be an expert in the Information security area. You will monitor, analyze, improve, administer and maintain the security of system access to Mitiget’s internal resources for employees, affiliates and external customers. This is accomplished by both applying existing security policies and standards as well as identifying the need to update and/or create new policies and standards as the risk landscape changes.

Some Technical Proficiencies

Work as part of a team to maintain security and integrity of corporate data and IT systems through activities including:

  • Work with business units and with other risk functions to identify security requirements, using methods that may include security risk and business impact assessments;
  • Security incident response duties as a member of the Cyber Security Incident Response Team;
  • Working experience with TCP/IP, firewalls, proxy, intrusion prevention systems (IPS), vulnerability assessment, monitoring tools, email engineering;
  • Functional knowledge of Unix and Windows server operating systems;
  • Represent the security needs of the organization by providing expertise and assistance in all IT projects with regard to security issues;
  • Maintain an awareness of security and control issues in emerging technologies.
